THE DANGER OF DOING NOTHING

If you are forced to commute in heavy congestion with stop-and-go traffic, it is frustrating and stressful for you, but it can also be a dangerous situation.

Look at the following pictures and think about this concept: What happens if a firetruck or an ambulance has to travel on either of these roads for a real emergency?

Most firetrucks an ambulances are wider than average vehicles. There is not enough room on the small shoulders on these roadways for emergency vehicles to pass. If they must pass along these roads, they have to depend on vehicles to move far enough out of the way to allow them to get by.

When an emergency vehicle gets onto a roadway like these with sirens blaring and lights flashing, drivers ahead of them become paralyzed. They don't know what to do because there is nowhere to go to get out of the way.

The worst possible scenario is that people needing emergency care do not receive that care because the emergency vehicles could not get to them in time.

The techniques that CMHO Consulting uses would improve accessibility for emergency vehicles in a matter of days, and they would provide very close to freedom of movement within four weeks.
